As a general tip, try working your way backwards in your head from the end point, it can help with those later levels.

I got to stage 14 in pretty much 1 sitting. I’m sure I’ll crack the rest of them.

haha. i was stuck on level 9 too… read the instructions again about the funny shaped switch and level 9 is really easy!

On stage 16 and haven’t a clue what to do next!!!

Stage 16: How To

Hit each of the pads in the cross shape in turn.
(You have to move the appropriate block each time.)
Then you end up on the crosses.
Bring the blocks together and hit the left hand cross.
Then go back to the pads and hit them all again.
The blocks will split.
Shift the left hand block 1 space left
Then join and hit the right hand cross.
Then go back to the pads and hit them all again.
Finally line the blocks up for the final descent.

Can anyone help with level 26? I’m just going round and round in circles. AAGGGHHHH…..

Two and a half hours later, getting mad at the phone ringing and interupting my playing, I’m stuck on level 17… argh! My head is spinning…. LOL

Really, really good. As others have commented, lovely simple design and concept, yet excellent puzzles to sort out. I admit to getting a bit addicted to these so pleased to have finished it and can get back to work! Many thanks.

Level 28 seems immposible. Can it be done?

I just did level 28 so yes it can be done! You have to use every single square and go up and down those step things in several different ways over and over again. make sure that in the furthest square in the top left hand corner, your block is standing vertically. Hope this helps

On level 11 do NOT hit the button….just work around it until you get the sequence right.

well i just found bass10 yesterday and fell inlove with bloxorz. the 33 levels here were cool but if you really want to feel your brain to turn to glass and shatter try “full board”…

…trust me if you can’t solve all 33 here you’ll give up faster there.

Beat all 33 levels today. Started playing yesterday. Really cool game, it’s very simple once you plan your way backwards. Some are tricky, but I found my biggest problem was my patience. I would die, and getting back to where I was, I’d rush, and keep killing myself unnecassarily. Lol. Anyway, WANT MORE LEVELS!!

–to get passed 17 you have to hit only one x on the bottom platform [the top one] then go to the top and again only hit one x [not the one in the corner].
–to get out just break dance around a little to make sure you dont activate the other x
–after that go down to the other platform and activate the x you left behind on your first visit. from there im more than confident you can handle it.

–first of all im not gonna feed you the answer straight; where is the fun in that? that said i will help you out by giving you a hint. you need to use the whole board! im sure you figured how to get to the switches, and learned that you dont want to touch the circle one only the splitter. so…
… go to the switches and get your block up the “stairs.” once up there use that first platform to spin around and go back down the stairs with a different orientation. now im sure you did that so here is the tricky part…
…when you are back at the switches with the new orientation break dance a bit to find another different way to get up the stars [hint: use the areas to the right and bottom of the switches] once you go back up the stairs the new way, you can cross the bridge, change your orientation on more time, and finally head downstairs to hit the switch.

i know you can handle it from there if you got this far - good luck

I was tired after level 27. It was fun though. I didn’t play all levels at once, but took three days playing whenever I felt like. I did store some level passwords if anyone wants ;)

cool game, took me a little over 2 hours

to get past #25 never hit the switch at the bottom. first tag the x on the starting platform then reposition yourself on that platform. then cross the bridge activate only the UPPER SWITCH. finally get back to the starting platform and activate the x again.

that’s it. done as efficiently as possible it can finished in 55 moves.

Trust me. You’d be amazed how eays they are if you plan backwards. Just see where you need to be, and see how many ways you can get back to where you start. In some situations with lots of buttons, you’re going to have do some trial and error to figure out which buttons to touch and when.

#11. as always i will never tell you how to do it. you have to solve it yourself to be fun. but as always i will give advice:
- this one is all about break dancing. position your block on its side above the switch and you can climb up to the exit to finish. mind you the switch is problematic, avoid it or fail.
- the areas to the right of the switch [upper and lower platforms] will help you reposition your block to get to the exit platform.
- first: use the lower platform to reposition your block then go up to the upper platform by passing the switch [ignore the bridge on the right of the platforms]
- second: use the upper platform to reposition the block again. to do this you have to enter the upper platform with the correct number of steps. [wiggle abit above the switch.]
- that’s it. exiting the upper platform correctly lets you roll you block down to the switch on its side. which in turn lets you cross the bridge with the correct timing to enter the exit platform.

Just finished all 33 levels. Once you find the rules to move and start thinking backwards, it is not that hard. Great game!

Here is the solution to Level #26 people were looking for.

U,U,L,L,L,D,L,L,L,D,R,U,R,R,U,U,R,R,D,R,R,D,R,R,U,U (get the two seperate blocks over to the X and position one directly beside it, then join the two back together to press the X, we’re gonna head back towards the teleporter again…),U,U,R,U,L,D,R,U,L,L,U,U,R,R,D,R,R,D,R,R,U,U, (now move each block one at a time, placing the first on the ledge that appeared when the X was pressed) then press L to slot it through the hole. And you’re done.

Completed the 33 stages in less than 4 hrs.

There should be a way to disable the music, but keep the click click of the stone.

Also, don’t disable the right click menu, it should be possible to zoom.

In fact there should be a full screen version, we are not all kids with perfect vision you know (or you will know one day)

After 1000 moves and 45 minutes, was in the middle of lvl 15. Stopped after 1000 moves and completing the level I was on. =p

If you can make it to level 29, you should probably know how to turn your block to go anywhere already. I think the problem lies in the sequence of what to press. First let me use some terms.

!st row: O & X
2nd row: X1 & X2
3rd row: O
4th row: O

Rows refer to imaginary rows drawn across the board which have O or X in them, reading the ‘O’ and ‘X’ that appear from left ot right. So, the sequence you should be pressing the ‘O’ & ‘X’ is 3rd row O, 1st row O, 1st row X, 4th row O, 2nd row X1 and lastly 2nd row X2.

If you don’t get what I’m talking about, then just keep trying until you find the correct sequence. It took me a while to get it too, but after you know it its quite easy. Good luck.

To ca: You have to change your orientation by going back to the starting platform. That should be enough to get you going. And don’t hit the left circle(avoiding the right one only could work as well, but I avoided the left one).

you go down, use the bottom right flat strip to change the block’s position, then go back up and circle around from below, go up, use the flat strip at the top right to change position again, and then you’ll be able to get into the hole plate.

Stage 99! Good God! This is a hopeless addiction gone nowhere fast!

After some tweaking, some experimenting, and a little bit of random button mashing, I have managed to reduce the number of moves down to 2052, and I have no intention of trying to lower it any further (that is, unless someone can best that figure)

I must say, this is an incredibly addictive game, and I have had much more fun with it than I thought possible when I first came across this site. My one regret is that it ended at 33 levels. I think this thread is evidence enough that it is a very well designed game, and we all want more. I would encourage the developer to put out more levels and upping the difficulty even more, as impossible as it may seem.

At any rate, anyone who would like to see my permutations for a specific level, just ask on this thread; I will be happy to oblige.

I would like to requet a guide from the developer as well, for comparison purposes. Thank you =D

stuck at 12 send guide please!

Bloxorz is a great game - I’m looking for either different layouts for the game either online or on a disc. If anyone knows please let me know I couldn’t find anything.

the trick to 25 is to tag the X first, dance around to resposition yourself so you’re lying on the X as you leave that platform. Don’t to anywhere near the bottom silver circle…. then activate the top circle. Make sure you leave that platform with the extra platform beside the hole left intact. don’t worry about the bridge disappearing…. reactive the X and the bridge comes back!! the rest is easy.

Alrighty, there have been a lot of requests for 9, 10, 11, and 12. I won’t post the exact permutations, unless someone specifically requests them, but I can help point you in the right direction.

Stage 9: Line yourself up for a straight set of flips end over end across to the other side of the stage. Once there, the trick is to land standing up on the split switch. After that, it’s just a matter of getting both halves in the right places to fall right in to the hole in one move. (hint: you don’t need to put one of the halves all the way on the edge =D)

Stage 10: Alrighty, this one is a bit trickier. You need to activate both the O switch and the X switch, and the only way to get over to them is with the half blocks, so you need to activate the split switch just to the right of the starting position. I found it was easiest to activate the O switch first, then come back and position that half above the X switch. Once you activate the X switch, you can get the block back up to where it started. Just keep repositioning the block around a bit, and you’ll eventually get lined up right to just flip left end over end into the hole.

Stage 11: The main trick to this one is to not activate the O switch, because that makes this stage impossible to clear. You have to use almost all of this level to get the block in the right position to get to the finish area. First, get over to the area where the O switch is (but don’t activate it). Then, the next task is to get down below the switch so you can move to the right and use some of the extra room down there to reposition the block a bit. If you get it right, you can then proceed back above the switch, and end up standing up on the last row of of the platform. This is good, but still not exactly where we need to be. We still need to be one more square to the right, so a quick reposition will get us where we need to be. From there, you can get to the 6 block section to the right, and reposition once more so that when you come back to the left (for the last time, I promise), the block will be lying down and able to roll down, and then left so that you’re able to get up to the finish. A little trickery up there, and we’re on to Stage 12!

Stage 12: This stage takes quite a bit of trickery, I believe it’s the highest move count up to this point with 66 moves, that I found. Both of the X switches need to be activated in order to complete this stage, and neither of them are very easy. In order to activate the first one, you need to go all the way to the right side of the stage, and use almost every last bit of the platform over there to get the block on its side so you can roll up to the bridge you crossed to get there. This will allow you to activate the first X switch. For the second X switch, we need to go back over the bridge again, and back down to where you positioned the block for the first X switch. You need to get the block so that when you flip end over end back up, it will land on its side and all the way at the end of the column. Then you can roll right to get the second switch. After that, just one more round down at the repositioning area so that you can get back across the bridge to the finish area, where just a little flipping around will get you to stage 13.

To sooocraziritenow, who asked for help with 23:

The primary goal we have to complete this stage is getting to the X switch, which unfortunately requires a lot more actions beforehand. Our first task is to activate ths split switch across the orange area from where we start. all we need to do is get the block on its side vertially so we can roll across the orange blocks. Once there, a few careful moves (remember you can still use the orange squares, as long as only half the block is on them) will activate the split switch, which leaves one half stranded by the X switch, and the other one is left to do all the leg work. What we have to avoid here now is the closest O switch to the split switch. If you activate that O switch, it will detract all of the brown squares, and make it impossible to complete this level. We need to take the long way around, over the orange blocks, to activate the other O switch. This brings up a bridge to the third O switch. Once you get to this one, it closes the bridge you just crossed, but allows you to continue up to rejoin the other half and finally activate the X switch. Now, all we have to do is a little repositioning up here, so we can get back down to where we started. The only thing left to do is to get lined up on the bottom row so a few flips end over end will get the block lying on its side with one half on the brown block. From here, just roll on up, and the end is just a few flips away.

puzzle no 23 has me stumped i don’t want to know how to complete it - what i cant understand is, at the start i roll sideways across the orange blocks over the split switch which does not activate when i roll over it (should it) so i carry on and reach the soft switches which activate some bridges but close the ones behind me, so i’m stranded and can’t get off the set of blocks i am on - am i missing something as i can’t see any other way to move - please help

Hi wilma, you have to do the top x first then come back down and go over bottom right bridge up and out, then down to bottom x over bridge x up and out.you should be able to sort out the moves.

Ok, for level 31 you can’t touch the round buttons. You want to get the top X then the bottom X then the far left X, exit right the go to the finish.

Just finished level 33. it is a very good game. you just have to remember that each stage can be done, there is a way. Just use your brain. Try and work backwards sometimes.

I still havent mastered the skill to get passed stage 28. This is quite a mind teasing but very interesting game. But is there anyway I can get a guide to get passed some of these difficult levels.

Done it :)

As far as level 28–I too thought it was impossible. You deifinitely want to stay away from the button that causes the paths to disappear. You also need to split the block into 2 to win the level. As far as how to align the block to hit the splitter, let’s just say go around the solid button a few times and see if you can get things to line up just right. Patience—it can be done.

it is easy . if u already finish up to stage 9 then i can give u stage 10 how to complete it. just follow as.
move the block to () first break block into two parts then move one small block to () after move two small blocks away from the cross hit space bar move the other small block close to each other small blocks then stand on cross ,once the path clear u see the path bring one block on () to break it again now move the small block close to the hole then bring other small block close to the other block which is close to the hole then make a big block and move it to the hole. good luck!!!

Just thought everyone who is stuck on a level might like to know. If you go to Youtube & type bloxorz in the search box you can probably find the level your stuck on shown there. I did!!!! All the really hard levels are there!!!!

I’m too stupid to get past level 6. I even get RIGHT to the fricking hole that I need to drop into, but I’m not in fricking position to do it, and when I try and backtrack to figure out where I fricking messed up, I always end up falling off like the utter MORON that I am! :(

Guide for level 11 would be great. It is driving me mad.

Is it supposed to take 134 moves to solve Level 33? (By itself, NOT the whole game lol). Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to finally be smart to solve that level all by myself w/out having to use the Guide. It just seems like a LOT of moves. I think I now can solve about exactly HALF of the levels all by myself w/out having to use the Guide! Woohoo! I’m learning! (Yes I skip around instead of trying to play 1-33 straight through, lol.). Thanks for the guide! It helped me a LOT! :)

Haha it took me 158 moves this time. I’ve had other times when I only need 112 and 114 moves to solve it. Oh well, keeps it interesting. ;)

Ha! I reduced my level 33 moves to 84! WooHoo! I KNEW I was adding unnecessary moves, etc.! *whee* :)

Okay, I’ve now solved level 33 in 82 moves several times in a row now. That must be about the right number. It doesn’t seem like I make that many, but I must! :)

Okay, I’ve reduced my moves to 70 and it’s stayed that way several rounds in a row. I’ll try to figure out/eliminate my 5 remaining unnecessary moves later. :) I’m gonna try to solve some of the levels that I still have trouble with for a while. :) Thanks again! :)

This still isn’t the best possible grand total, only the best scores I have for each stage. The fewest total moves that I am aware of is 2001. The five move improvement is in stages 15-20, but I am having no luck in finding it, either on my own or on the web.

Stage 26: First, you need to hit the ( ) switch without hitting the O switch. Then set the cubes up to hit the X switch. Finally, hit the ( ) switch again so you can set the cubes up next to the goal.

Stage 22. I get to the right-hand X and get the extra tile on left-hand side, and get back over there. Cannot see how to reach left-hand X even then, and messing with the soft actuators (not sure how to call these things but you get the picture) only undoes what I achieved. Back again over same ground and so it goes. Help!
